About Me

So here I am, an almost non-existent particle, maybe infinitely smaller than a dot of sand on the beach of mathematicians, to contribute to the world of Ganit.
I am from the land of Aryabhatta.

Hobbies!

When I was young, my parents used to read story books to me. This habit was nurtured even more by my Primary School, where, apart from the school library, we had a class library in each classroom. From the class library, we were free to choose one book per week and read. And there I stumbled upon the Geronimo Stilton books, and I cultivated a hobby, a passion which became an integral part of me….. BOOKS. I became a voracious reader. As I grew older, I loved patterns, puzzles and Lego. I was intrigued by the Rubik’s Cube. I did not stop at the simple 3x3; I went on to different variations of 3x3, especially the one which had different shapes and sizes of each small piece and then doing 4×4 and 5×5 was a piece of cake for me.
There was a time when I was a Lego boy. Give me blocks, and I will forget that the world exists around me.

I have joined Hamara Pyar Hisar, a dedicated non-governmental organization (NGO) committed to transforming Hisar into a Green and Clean city. This decision stems from my deep-rooted belief in the power of collective action and my personal commitment to making a positive impact on the environment and community.

As a member of Hamara Pyar Hisar, I am excited to contribute to the various initiatives aimed at improving our city. Whether it’s participating in tree planting events, engaging with the community through awareness workshops, or supporting local authorities in crafting sustainable policies, I am eager to play my part in building a better Hisar.

Over the past two months, there has been a significant amount of discussion about pollution both at home and in my surroundings. It has become a daily topic, with my mom emphasizing the importance of keeping the air purifier on. I was curious about the sudden increase in concern, especially since this seems to happen every year.

I learned that in our region, this time of year corresponds to crop harvesting, during which farmers engage in stubble burning. This practice contributes significantly to pollution. I was initially confused about the situation and sought to understand both the problem and its potential solutions.

Fortunately, in my town, there is an Agriculture University known as HAU. I discovered that they have a department “Innovation Centre for Agriwaste Management” dedicated to Agricultural Waste Management, which intrigued me. Dr. Ravi Gupta from HAU played a crucial role in expanding my knowledge about the issue. He provided insights into the problem and discussed various solutions that could be explored. Additionally, I gained a better understanding of the government’s involvement in addressing and resolving the pollution problem.

Overall, the experience was enlightening, and I now have a clearer perspective on the issue of pollution during crop harvesting season and the ongoing efforts to find effective solutions.
